Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is still under the incarceration of the DSS for alleged treasonable felony has indicted the Nigerian government and some highly politicians in the South East as people responsible for the mayhem that has caused catastrophy in the South East and South South regions of Nigeria.
Speaking to newsmen in an online video that went viral after a Federal High Court in Abuja denied him a bail sentence after all pleas by his lawyers led by Bar. Alloy Ejimako, the radical Umuahia born activist said, “Anybody committing crime in the South East will never go scot-free, they are doing this because I am still being detained by DSS; if I am outside they won’t try it. And I suspect that some people in government are complicit, they are making money with insecurity”, Kanu fumed
Counsel for the IPOB leader, Alloy Ejimakor, had at the last adjourned date urged the court to admit Nnamdi Kanu to bail before the commencement of the trial.
Ejimakor stated that Kanu’s health condition was deteriorating, adding that his continued detention by the DSS was a threat to his life.
