Okigwe South Rep Seat: Women Deserve a Seat at the Table, Says Duruibe

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for the Ehime Mbano/Ihitte-Uboma/Obowo Federal Constituency, Engr. Queen Oluchi Duruibe, has reiterated the need for greater inclusion of women in leadership and decision making positions.
Speaking exclusively to Ikoro Okigwe in Owerri, last weekend, Duruibe emphasized that women deserve a seat at the table where critical decisions affecting families, communities, and the nation are made.
According to her, empowering women and creating opportunities for their participation in governance will contribute significantly to societal growth and development.
“When women rise, families prosper and communities grow,” she stated, stressing that women’s voices and contributions remain vital to sustainable development and effective representation.
The House of Representatives hopeful called on constituents across Ehime Mbano, Ihitte Uboma, and Obowo Federal Constituency to support her vision of inclusive leadership, promising to champion policies that promote the welfare of women, youths, and the entire constituency.
Duruibe’s campaign continues to focus on grassroots engagement, women empowerment, youth development, and improved representation for the people of Okigwe South Federal Constituency.
