The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has confirmed Engr. Queen Oluchi Duruibe as the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for the Okigwe South Federal Constituency House of Representatives election, with her name officially retained on the Commission’s candidate portal.
IKoro Okigwe got hint of the development through the INEC portal on Wednesday,July, 15,2026.
The development affirms Duruibe’s candidature following the party’s nomination process and further clears the way for her participation in the forthcoming election under the NDC platform. Her emergence has been presented by the party as part of its commitment to promoting youth participation and increasing women’s representation in elective offices.
