Ezeji Obinna, the Councillor-elect for Umuihi ward in Ihitte/Uboma Local government area of Imo State, has praised the Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, and the Imo State Independent Electoral Commission,(ISIEC) headed by Chief Charles Ejiogu, for conducting a free,fair and transparent council polls in the State.
Speaking exclusively in a telephone conversation with IKORO OKIGWE after receiving his Certificate of Retrun as duly elected Councilor for Umuihi ward from the electoral body, Ezeji expressed delight and gratitude to God for sustaining him and helping him to emerge victorious at the September, 21,2024 polls.
He did not mince his words as he thanked the leadership of APC for entrusting him with the ticket and the people of Umuihi ward for believing in him,as well as throwing their support towards his emergence.
While reassuring the people and the party of his absolute loyalty and honesty, Hon. Ezeji vowed that he would render quality and effective representation to his people, as well as promote the policies of the 3R shared prosperity administration of Gov. Hope Uzodimma, which he said will bring more dividends of democracy to the grassroot.
