The people of Okigwe senatorial district of Imo state have continued to express joy and satisfaction over Rt Hon Chike Olemgbe’s brilliant performance as Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly since his assumption of office on June 16, 2023.
Expressing profound happiness over what he called Chike Olemgbe’s effective representation for Ihitte-Uboma state constituency and good leadership as speaker of Imo state apex law-making body, a strong member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and avowed supporter of Imo state 3-mantra administration, Hon Godbless Nnaemeka Nzenwa pointed out that the Chike Olemgbe-led 10th house of assembly has so far, exhibited maturity, excellence, patriotic disposition and unbridled commitment to making people-oriented legislations, in line with the vision, developmental zeal and programmes of Governor Hope Uzodimma administration.
Nzenwa, who is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NEMEX Automobile Nigeria and NEMEX Foundation, Ihitte-Uboma observed with satisfaction that Chike Olemgbe since the past one year, has not only ensured proper direction and focus on house legislative and oversight functions by members but also, attracted many political appointments to the people of Okigwe zone.
” Okigwe Zone is no longer brushed aside in the scheme of things. Realities on ground have shown that with Chike Olemgbe as Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Okigwe zone would always get her fair share of democracy dividends under the watch of His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma. On the Chike Olemgbe empowerment programme for youths and less-privileged persons across the six local government areas of Okigwe Zone, Hon Nzenwa, popularly called NEMEX, posited that the gesture was unprecedented and a masterstroke to achieving poverty reduction in the zone.
