With the slogan “Your vote is your voice, Nigeria’s future is in your hands,” the foundation stressed that voter apathy remains a major setback in the country’s democratic process and encouraged citizens not to sit back and complain but to actively participate in shaping governance through the ballot.

According to the notice, online pre-registration for PVC began on August 18, 2025 via www.cvr.inecnigeria.org, while in-person registration officially commenced on August 25, 2025 across designated centers.

The foundation emphasized the importance of political participation, particularly in the 6 Local Councils of Okigwe Zone, Isiala Mbano, Ehime Mbano, Okigwe, Onuimo, Ihitte/Uboma, Obowo,  where  eligible voters have been urged to “make noise with their vote” by ensuring they are duly registered and prepared to exercise their civic responsibility.

Speaking on the initiative, High Chief Sir PMC Okeke said the campaign is part of its broader commitment to promoting civic engagement, grassroots development, and accountable leadership in Nigeria.

PMC Okeke who is also the CEO of IKoro Okigwe Newspaper and Ave International Football Club hailed all Okigwe sons and daughters in various political offices for their contribution so far in the growth of the Zone, while urging them to never relent in their desire in bringing greater development to our people.

It will be recalled that the foundation played a very vital role during the zonal constitutional review held recently in Owerri.

The campaign also seeks to mobilize youth, women, and first-time voters, stressing that the power to decide Nigeria’s future rests with the people through the ballot.
