THE PROBLEMS FACED BY NIGERIA UP TILL THIS DAY COULD BE SAID TO BE HIERARCHICALLY ROOTED AND STRUCTURED IN THE SEQUENCE ENUMERATED HEREUNDER : PLEASE STUDY AND GIVE US YOUR TAKE AS IT AFFECTS THE SEQUENCE ; VIZ : NO. (1) : ETHNICITY/TRIBALISM . This is believed to be the core problem. This is so even when it is not yielding any dividend to the majority amongst them but they will continue to hold firmly to it as if to say , “let the consequences or it’s negative outcome be upon them and their children including the ones unborn ” . NO. (2 ) : RELIGIOUS BELIEF : This belief is always hypocritical with deceit undercover in most cases by the elites to the detriment of the least class of people therein with abject poverty always starring them in their faces). No. (3) : CORRUPTION : This is believed to be deeply and dangerously rooted. Overcoming it appears not to be in sight since they believe that when you fight it, it will fight you back and might even subdue you .
But where there is a will, there’s always a way. No. (4) : EGOCENTRICITY OF PRESUMED LEADERS. This factor is essentially responsible for the prevailing unnecessary acquisition of wealth up to the level of being termed primitive acquisition of wealth even for generations that may not be born. This is as dangerous as danger itself. I wish this is the era of JULIUS CAESAR of the SHAKESPEAREAN fame who said that ” “Danger knows full well that Caesar is more Dangerous than he, noting that he and danger were two Lions littered in one day and he became the elder and more terrible”, if it were his era , it would have been most suited and interesting for him to handle this terrifying matter on our behalf.
No.(5) : IGNORANCE OF MOST FOLLOWERS. Illiteracy comes as topmost here and it is the major culprit. In most cases, these followers are deliberately denied Education by their leaders so that they won’t realize themselves and would continue to weaponize it ad infinitum thus causing a collosal , irredeemable and debilitating effects in the long run .
No. (6) : INCOMPETENCE ON THE PART OF SOME LEADERS : This becomes ironical when the country can boost of Technocrats, captains of Industries and Managers of both Human and Material resources scattered across the globe. You would liken this to a situation where one is asked to go to any Goats’ Farm, Camp/Ban to select one goat and he/she decides to select a HE GOAT. Of course you know the implication of that. This scenario has always played out and has largely contributed to our undoing as a nation. Those were the order.
