The Commissioner for Works and Infrastructural Development, Ralph Nwosu on Friday,May, 23, 2025, conducted inspection visit to the ongoing construction of Control Post Interchange Bridges (Fly-Over) to ascertain the progress of work.
IKORO OKIGWE had earlier gathered that the flyover which will be the first of it’s kind in the capital city of Owerri, will be completed on or before July, 2025, following the earlier announcement by the Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma during his live audience participatory radio show with Imolites, on January.
During the inspection visit, the Commissioner expressed satisfaction with the quality of work being executed and charged the contractor to further increase the construction speed in other to complete the project within the contractual duration.
He reiterated Government’s desire to complete the flyover project while appealing to roadusers to exercise patience and continue to ply through alternative routes as the project with soon be completed and open for public use, he added.
