Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma has stated that he will ensure that local government elections in the State holds in the next 60 days.
In a press release from the Information Commissioner Hon. Declan Emelumba, which also unveiled the list of newly appointed 27 Sole Administrators,on Tuesday.
Uzodimma said that the appointment of the Sole Administrators is to ensure credible council polls in the State, devoid of manipulations by politicians no matter how exalted, opining that their appointment is with immediate effect
The 27 Sole Administrators include;
Isiala Mbano : Hon. Okoroike Chika
Onuimo : Dr. Obi Emeka P
Okigwe :Hon. Sir Acho Asiegbu
Obowo : Barr. Obioma Ehirim
Ehime Mbano : Chief Uche Nwodu
Ihitte Uboma : Hon. Barr. Chukwuma Godson Onyema
Oru East : Hon. Okwaraigwe Nnamdi
Orsu : Hon. Ibekaeme Friday
Orlu : Barr. Isaiah Chinedu Ezeogu
Oguta : Dr. Abiaziem Chima
