…A Role Model to Motherhood

It was a glamorous gathering of who is who in Imo state, as Princess Iyobosa Gbugbemi Yvonne Amadi, celebrated her 60th birthday.
Speaking at the epoch-making event which was held at their palatial home at Eziama Ikeduru Local Government Area of the State, The Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma who stormed the event with the wife the First Lady Barr. Chioma , equally expressed a very joyful mood with the Amadis , while describing the celebrant as a role model in motherhood.
Uzodimma said,“ What I have come here to do is to renew the vow between the couple Prince Charles Amadi and the wife the celebrant, for it is not easy in our society for our women to attain the age of 60 without having health challenges”. As he urged the couple to continue to bond in wisdom, understanding and love for each other.
In a birthday felicitation from ex-Nigeria President Olusegun Obasanjo, he described the celebrant as one who has impacted so much to humanity,and a pillar of strength, understanding, encouragement and love to her husband(Charles), children and the entire members of her extended family and friends.
Reading the citation of his mother at the ceremony one of the sons Prince Akarachi Amadi, who is the member representing Mbaitoli/Ikeduru federal constituency at the National Assembly, said that Princess Yvonne creates and sustain aura of peace, grace, generosity, serenity, and spirituality.
Ikorookigwe.com gathered that the elegant entry of former Speaker Imo House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Emeka Nduka and wife gave credence to the ceremony, alongside the electrifying performance of popular Nigeria gospel musician Mr and Mrs M and Revelation.
Personalities at the event include; President of Ohanaeze Ndi-Igbo Worldwide Chief Engr. Emmanual Iwuanyawu, former Governor of Imo State Dr. Ikedi Ohakim who anchored as Chairman of the ceremony, Chief Tony Chukwu, Speaker Imo House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Chike Olemgbe, Hon. Canice Moore Nwachukwu,(fed house member Oru East,Orsu,Orlu), Hon. Chike Okafor,(fed house member Okigwe South), Princess Miriam Onuoha,(fed house member Okigwe North), Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, National and State Assembly members, Expanded Imo State Exco members which includes Hon. Chuck Chukwuemeka, Commissioner for Finance, and the Deputy Governor of Imo State Her Excellency Lady Chinyere Ekomaru accompanied by the husband.
At the highpoint of the event which was the cutting of the 60th birthday cake, another of her son who is a top Nigeria musical artist dished out some of his rendition like “All my life”.
