Uyo the capital city of Akwa Ibom state, will be hosting the 11th Music Congress and Silver Jubilee celebration of the Provincial Music Commission (PMC) of the Catholic Ecclesiastical Province of Calabar, Tagged “Uyo 2024”, which will kick start on Tuesday, 6 – Saturday 10th August, 2024.
In an invitation extended to Ikoro Okigwe Newspaper, the Metropolitan Archbishop of Calabar, His Grace Most. Rev. Dr. Joseph Ekuwem, will be the Chief Host, while His Lordship Most Rev. Dr. John Ebebe Ayah, Catholic Bishop of Uyo Diocese, will be the host.
Information also disclosed to our correspondent from the organizers is that the Chairman/CEO of Ikoro Okigwe Newspaper, Sir PMC Okeke will be invested as the Provincial patrons of the choir , alongside other imminent Catholics.
Other organizers include, Cate. Paul Oscar,PMC Chairman, Sir. Anietie William, Chairman CPC, and Mr. Emmanuel Unah, as Secretary of the event.
