Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, Deputy Governor, Lady Chinyere Ekomaru,Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi,National President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Comrade Joe Ajaero, were among prominent Imo personalities who witnessed the traditional wedding of Captain Emmanuel Iheanacho’s daughter, Amarachi.
Others include Senator Osita Izunaso, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha,Sen. Samuel Anyanwu,too numerous to mention.
The event which turned out to be a political gathering saw the one time Nigeria Minister traditionally handed over the daughter to her heartthrob, Mr Guy Oldrieve.
The colorful ceremony which looked like a cultural carnival was held at the country home of the Iheanacho’s in Awaka, Owerri North Local Government Area,Imo State.
