Imo State witnessed a flurry of activities as Evergreen Pharmaceutical Industry Limited, Ndiowerre Orlu,in the State, received a prestigious award from the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria,(PSN) Imo State branch, as the outstanding ‘Indigenous Industry’ at the 2024 annual conference and Pharmacy week held recently.
The event, which drew prominent figures in the pharmaceutical sector, including family and friends, took place at Sam Mbakwe Hall, Rockview Hotels, last Thursday.
Dr. Norbert Ajiero, State Chairman of PSN, while presenting the award to Declan Unogu, General Manager, representing the CEO, Dr. Okechukwu Unogu, lauded the company for introducing innovative ideas to the pharmaceutical society, contributing significantly to economic growth through local production, ensuring medicine safety.
He commended Evergreen Pharmaceutical Industry Limited for its impactful contributions, exceptional services, and transformative impact in Ndiowerre Orlu,Imo State and Nigeria in general.
Reacting the General Manager of Pharmaceutical company, Declan Unogu, hinted that the honour is a great challenge to do more, stressing that they are poised to do more in the healthcare sector.
