… Participants receive NABTEB Modular Certificates, support from Imo East Senator
Beneficiaries, numbering three hundred and eighty (380) have been trained and empowered by Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi, under his continuous skills acquisition training and empowerment programmes. The graduands were trained in four areas namely, Professional Culinary Arts-National and Continental, Fisheries, Aquaculture and Animal Husbandry, Dry Foods Processing and Packaging and Millinery, Basic Cosmetology and Make-up Artistry.

Speaking during their graduation ceremony, which witnessed presentation of certificates and start-up equipments, Senator Onyewuchi stated that he is driven by the need to impart requisite skills on his constituents to make them self reliant and employers of labour instead of job seekers. He advised the beneficiaries to show commitment and discipline in order to succeed.

Senator Onyewuchi announced that the graduands would be captured in his data base for necessary follow up and support.
He also lauded the facilitators for a job well done. The facilitators commended the Senator for his commitment and vision urging him to continue his good works.

The participants who spoke through, Chibuzor Ajunwa, Florence Egereuka and Chioma Okorie, declared that the lawmaker didn’t just equip them with knowledge, but also, gave them a future. They said it was three weeks of intensive and quality training, which has equipped them with valuable skills and opened new doors of opportunity for them to become self reliant.
