Imo State Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, on Wednesday commissioned two major educational projects donated by the Senator representing Imo East (Owerri Zone), Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi.

The projects— a fully equipped science laboratory at Owerri Girls Secondary School and an Information Communication Technology/Computer-Based Test (ICT/CBT) Centre at the Claretian University of Nigeria, Nekede — were built and handed over to the institutions by Senator Onyewuchi.

At Owerri Girls Secondary School, the Governor particularly emphasized the significance of donating a science laboratory to female students, stressing the importance of exposing the girl-child to diverse learning opportunities.

Addressing students and school authorities at both locations, Uzodimma urged them to maximize the facilities for learning. “Ensure you make good advantage of the opportunity before you, so that you will leave the school confident that you have been equipped to rule the world,” he said, assuring Senator Onyewuchi of continued government collaboration.
