… PMC Okeke calls for synergy in community developmentÂ
The much talked about Ihitte-USA convention holding at Baltimore in the United States of America, has finally ended in a grand style with diasporan illustrious sons and daughters agreeing to work acidiously for the development of various communities in Ihitte clan, Ihitte-Uboma local government area of Imo State.
The event which had in attendance the BOT chairman of Ogbako -Ihitte worldwide ,High Chief PMC Okeke as one of the Speakers,also witnessed Chief Chijioke Charles Ogoke,member of Ogbako -Ihitte worldwide at the event.
Disclosing the outcome of the event via a telephone conversation to our correspondent, High Chief Okeke said that the conference which is an annual event is been organized to gather all illustrious sons and daughters of the area to brainstorm towards the over-all development of their clan through investment in education, empowerment of youths and development of physical infrastructure.
Sir PMC Okeke, who is an avowed christian and community leader in Umuihi, is also the Chairman and CEO of Ikoro Okigwe media and Ave In’t football club, has always remained a champion in the advocacy for developing Ihitte clan in all areas of human endeavor. While thanking all participants for their warm attendance despite their tight engagements and the fruitful and peaceful deliberations which ended in their resolutions to develop Ihitte clan in the possible shortest time without looking back, as he reiterated his clarion call for youth empowerment which according to him is the bedrock of total development of their beloved clan.
