It was beehive of activities in Owerri the Imo State capital,las Friday, as women from the five(5) Eastern states in Nigeria gathered in their colourful attires and numbers for the grand inauguration ceremony of the Local Organizing Committee for Pan Igbo Women Conference, which will hold in November,2024 at Enugu.
The Igbo women group used the special occasion to install the Imo State Deputy Governor, Lady Chinyere Ekomaru, as the Grand Matron, while a well-known Imo State born Billionaire Philanthropist, Chief Summers Vitus Nwokie, popularly known as Ikukuoma Mbaise was honoured as the Grand Patron of the association, among others.
In her address at the epoch-making event, Deputy Governor of Imo, Chinyere Ekomaru, called on Igbo women to lend their support to Government at all levels for development of Igbo land as well as fight against insecurity,while adding that the much needed business and industrial revolution in Igbo land cannot be achieved without a conductive business atmosphere enabled by the collaborative efforts of all relevant stakeholders.
Dr. Ekomaru who was represented by her Senior Special Assistant Administration Lady Kelechi Nkwazema, thanked the women for taking a bold step in the promotion of Igbo culture and values. While thanking them for honouring her as thit first Matron, as she urged them to work towards cooperating with other relevant Igbo groups to attract more last legacy in the society.
Earlier in his speech the Chairman of the occasion,who was also decorated as the Grand patron of the Pan Igbo Women group, High Chief (Dr) Summers Nwokie, described the event as one that marks a significant mileston in the history of Igbo women and the collective journey towards the empowerment, equity and cultural renaissance.
The Mbaise born Billionaire Philanthropist, hinted, “While we celebrate the achievements of Igbo women, we must also confront the challenges that continue to hinder their progress”.
He maintained that the Pan-Igbo women International conference will provide a critical opportunity to X-ray these challenges and develop strategies for overcoming them, furthermore said that despite significant progress, women in Igbo land continue to face barriers to education, economic opportunities and political participation.
The Local Organizing Committee Chairman, Barr. Chief Mrs. Ijeoma Igboanusi, in her address opined that the conference is set to celebrate the uniqueness of the Igbo woman and their role in peace and unity of the region.
” To truly harness the potential of the Igbo women in fostering peace and unity, we must ensure their voices are heard and their contributions are recognized”. She stated.
Uzodimma’s victory vindicated at the Supreme Court -Senator Onyewuchi

The Senator representing Imo East Senatorial District, Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi, has hailed the Supreme Court judgment that gave victory to the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, last Friday.
In statement made available to IKORO OKIGWE on Sunday, Onyewuchi described the victory as a true reflection of the wishes and aspirations of Ndi-Imo, saying it is remarkable and an affirmation of a well deserved reflection freely and conscientiously given to him by the people.
The sagacious National Assembly member who is known for his outspokenness on State and National issues,and who of recent flagged off his Free Health Insurance Scheme for his constituents, opined that what transpired at the 2023 governorship election was a demonstration of the proverbial axiom that the reward for hard work is more work.
Onyewuchi, who is the Chairman Senate committee on National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure, NASENI, availed that now that all distraction and encumbrances are permanently rested, that Imolites will continue to benefit from Uzodimma’s transformative leadership.

Truly, goodness begets goodness. Goodness has always thrived and humans who do good to humanity and society have often felt relieved, complete, fulfilled and fortified.
This is because the lives they generously, richly, sacrificially, selflessly, positively and humanely touched are financially, emotionally, spiritually, psychologically and physically balanced and hence giving back to the society with joyfulness, peace, relaxation and conviviality being enhanced and sustained.
Honestly, these quality attributes of humanism are deeply embedded and indeed being exemplified by an illustrious son of Isiala Mbano and a politician, socialite, philanthropist, Engineer Chizitere Ahubelem (Chizzy Wizzy), an embodiment of goodness, love, chivalry and godliness.

Sequel to the forthcoming Triennial Delegate conference of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), the National Executive Council (NEC) has fixed November 28-30th for the event.
In a release signed by the National Secretary and made available to Newsmen, it stated that the event which will gather Journalists across the country, will take place in Owerri, Imo State.
To ensure a successful conference, NEC has constituted a nine man Credentials Committee led by Comrade Michael Ikeogwu as chairman and Comrade Ademu Seidu as Secretary.
“They are to midwife the conduct of a credible, transparent and successful election that would usher in the next Central Working Committee of the Union. Other members of the committee are: Comrades Peculiar John, Tukur Hassan Dan-Ali, Prince Leke Adegbite, Chidi Asonye, Ayuku Pwaspo, Rajab Mohammed and Dominic Akpan”.
As part of the communique, NUJ urged President Bola Tinubu to address critical concerns that would bring immediate succour to Nigerians and condemned acts of violence that rocked some States during the nationwide hunger Protest.
“NUJ strongly condemned the unprofessional conduct of security personnel during the hunger protests across the nation especially assaults on Journalists in the cause of the discharge of their schedules, insisting that security personnel must be responsible in their actions on such occasions and exhibit enlightened professional composure while urging Journalists to observe safety first at all times in their lines of duty”.
“It condemned the invasion by security personnel on the Headquarters of the Nigeria Labour Congress and called on the Federal Government to caution security agencies from such Gestapo acts under a democratic Government capable of plunging institutions to the dark days of Military dictatorship”.
Continuing, NEC urged State Governors to speedily implement the new minimum wage signed into Law by President Bola Tinubu to assuage the challenges faced by Nigerian workers in the face of the dwindling economy.
“State Governments were urged to take proactive measures in curbing food inflation, introduce price control templates to checkmate rising costs of foodstuffs while Governors who have started this process were commended”.
NUJ further commended State Governments rocked by issues of violence during the hunger protest on the curfew imposed in bringing immediate peace and return to normalcy”.
In another development, NEC unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the President of NUJ, Comrade Chris Isiguzo, MFR and the CWC for meritoriously serving the Union all through their tenure with distinction and new heights of excellence.
Speaking on the November triennial delegates conference holding in Imo State, the NUJ Chairman, Imo State Council, Comrade Ifeanyi Nwanguma, JP lauded the NUJ National Executive Council for choosing Imo State for the conference, stressing that the Imo State Council and State Government led by Governor Hope Uzodimma will make their conference worth the while. “We are ready. We will not fail you in any way”.
Nwanguma pointed out that this is the first time that the conference is taking place in Imo. He urged Imo Journalists to prepare for the wonderful conference that would gather creme de la creme of the society.
Breaking: 11 passengers,babies die in Abia auto crash
At least eleven persons were confirmed dead on Sunday evening, including two babies and the driver of Abia line, who’s name is yet to be confirmed at the time of report.
Ikoro Okigwe can reports that this followed a tragic road accident near Umuika Junction on the Enugu-Aba-Port Harcourt Expressway in Abia State.
As at the time of filing the report, the bodies where been evacuated by state government authorities.

Okobi policy: Group hails Uzodimma, calls on citizens to support policy.

The Coordinator of all Coordinators of Ekomaru Vanguards of Hope, Chief Engr. Victor Chikwendu has poured encomiums on Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma for his leadership vision in introducing One Kindred One Business, otherwise known as Okobi programme, which will empower women and youths in the rural areas and also guarantee food security for the people.
Governor Uzodimma made the declaration during an emergency Exco meeting on Monday, August 5, 2024, where he assured of government’s preparedness to ensure the programme becomes a huge success story in the State.
Speaking with Journalists in Owerri, the Ekomaru Vanguards of Hope leader, opined that the introduction of the programme will reduce youth restiveness in our various communities, which he said has introduced so many criminal activities including insecurity.
Chief Chikwendu,who is a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress,APC, and hails from Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area, hinted that Uzodimma’s approach has shown that he is desirous in impacting on the lives of the less privilege in the grassroot,which he said is in the right direction and shows true governance.
The political leader also eulogized the Governor, for his role in ensuring that South East was peaceful during the hunger protest,” I want to thank His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodimma for his fatherly role in dousing tension arising from the end bad government protest”.

Breaking: FG withdraw sale of subsidized rice to Public Servants

The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced the withdrawal of sell of subsidized rice to civil servants in the country.
It would be recalled that a memo was recently released on August, 1,2024, where it was announced that trucks of 50kg rice was released for civil servants to purchase at the rate of 40,000 naira, this is part of FG remedy for high cost of rice commodity in the country.
In a recent internal memo which emanated from the office of the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Special Duties and Inter Government Affairs, and signed by Aderonke Jaiyesimi, it said that the earlier announcement is withdrawn as a later date will be communicated.

Senator representing Imo East at the upper Chambers of the National Assembly, Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi, has strongly appealed to Imo youths not to take part in the August 1, protest, considering the feared consequences that will arise as the result of the public protest.
He made this disclosure after commissioning an ICT centre he single handedly built and equipped at Immaculate Heart Catholic Church, Orji in Owerri North Local Government Area of the State, on Wednesday.

According to the Imo East Senator, he understands that times are difficult, but the solutions to the various challenges is not protesting to avoid criminals hijacking the process, just like they did during End Sars which resulted to lost of lives, buildings,Police stations been burnt, including looting of food items and properties.
” It is a fundamental right to express yourselves, but it must be within the ambit of the law”.
Senator Onyewuchi opined that it is too early to pass judgement on President Bola Tinubu’s led administration, ” The Government is barley one year in office, and these are problems accumulated over the years, let’s give Mr President benefit of time in other to fix the country”.
The vasatile Lawmaker who started his career in politics at the federal House of Representatives and later at the Senate, called on youths to utilize the opportunity provided to empower themselves with ICT skills that will assist them in securing jobs, while promising to provide a generator set for steady power supply during their training.

How business owner was murdered in Imo

Sources has emerged over the murder of CEO of Wealth Empire, Ama Wire, in Orji area of Imo State,who was found dead after he was traced to his office and shot dead by gunmen.
At the time of our investigation we were yet to get his full name.
According to fresh information gathered by Ikoro Okigwe, the youthful businessman who recently opened his fashion store were he sells cloths and shoes, was robbed before his murder, on Tuesday.
A woman who spoke to our correspondent on anonymity, alleged that the assailants were business associates who had transaction with him, and probably they desist never kept to the agreement.
She spoke in Igbo, said “They said he made away with their money, bought a car and opened a business”.
When we visited his business office it was locked with keys.
How the Iconic Musician Onyeka Onwenu passed on

Sources has finally emerged how musical icon Onyeka Onwenu reportedly passed on Tuesday night.
According to information gathered by Ikoro Okigwe, she was confirmed dead by close family and friends at the Reddington Hospital, Lagos after she sl¥mped shortly after performing at a birthday party in Lagos.
The 72 years old, was attending a friend’s birthday party when she took to the stage to perform. After her performance, she returned to her seat and suddenly slumped. She was rushed to Reddington Hospital in Lagos, where she was later pronounced de@d.
The cause of de@th is yet to be confirmed.
Onyeka Onwenu, born on May 31, 1952, had a career that spanned over four decades. She was not only a renowned singer and songwriter but also an actress, journalist, and politician. Her first album with Polygram, In The Morning Light, was released in 1984.
Some of her most popular songs include “One Love,” “Iyogogo,” “Peace song” and “Ekwe.”
BREAKING: Police Arrest ABSU Lecturer for blackmailing colleague

The Abia State Police Command has arrested a Lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication, Abia State University Uturu Dr Kingsley Izuogu for allegedly masterminding the blackmailing of one his colleague in the Department.
Dr Izuogu was alleged to have contracted some persons to make damaging videos of one of his colleague which they reportedly uploaded on social media platforms.
It was also gathered that the those suspects whom some of them are still at large demanded the sum of N10 million from the Lecturer for them not to syndicate the video online.
As of the time of filing in this report, the police are on the trail on all those who circulated the damaging video on WhatsApp and some social media handles.

Mr. Peter Obi, the 2023 Presidential candidate of Labour Party has responded to the exit of Veteran Nollywood actor and Politician Barr. Kenneth Okonkwo, from his New Nigeria project and the Labour Party.
Reacting through his social media handle on Monday, Obi said that even though Okonkwo has left the party and his camp, he still remains his brother, while cautioning against any negative remarks referring the actor as a mole in camp.
His post read, “I want to therefore categorically and emphatically declare that Barrister Okonkwo remains my beloved brother and a trusted ally. I sternly caution against referring to him as a mole or making any negative remarks. Barr. Kenneth Okonkwo has stood by me through thick and thin, and his loyalty and commitment cannot be overstated or diminished. In a release signed by the Chairman of NUJ Imo State council, Comrade Ifeanyi Nwanguma, JP and made available to Newsmen, it stated that Chief Iwuanyanwu who was the President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo until his death, wrote his name in gold especially that he was a strong voice in the issues that border on puting the Ndigbo in the right of place in Nigeria.
“Iwuanyanwu was a father to Journalists in Imo State. Being our life patron, he was always there for us in times of advice and direction”.
“The entire Journalists in Imo State would miss his words of encouragement and support to the development of the profession. We have missed one of our best to the cold hands of death”.
Nwanguma hinted “As the President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, he has pushed the ideals of the Igbo man to the front burner of national discuss so much so that the agitation of additional state in the zone has gained momentum”.

The son of the President of Ohanaeze Ndi-Igbo Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, Ahaejiagamba Ndi-Igbo, Jide Iwuanyanwu in a statesment issued on Thursday evening, confirmed the demise of the iconic Igbo leader and patriarch.
It read” The Iwuanyanwu family of Umuohii Atta, in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State announces the demise of our patriarch, Engr Chief Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Iwuanyanwu-Ahaejiagamba Ndigbo,” the statement read. “Chief Iwuanyanwu died on Thursday July 25, 2024 after a brief illness. He was aged 82. Chief Iwuanyanwu before his death was President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide and President of Owerri Peoples Assembly.
” The late business mogul and Politician was born in September, 1942 in Umuohii, Ikeduru LGA, Imo state. He studied Civil Engineering in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He was the 11th leader of Ohanaeze Ndigbo. His funeral arrangements will be announced by his family soon”.
Breaking News: President Ohanaeze Ndi-Igbo Chief Iwuanyanwu is dead
According to friends who are close to the relatives, the Ohanaeze Ndi-Igbo President General Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu kicked the bucket in the early hours of Thursday, in Owerri, Imo State.
Chief Iwuanyanwu, was rumoured to have been bedridden for months in an undisclosed hospital outside the country, which kept him out of public domain, Ikoro Okigwe gathered.
He will be highly missed for his fatherly role and leadership qualities.
When Ikoro Okigwe contacted a family relation before going to press, he was undisposed to speak.

Receiving the Red Cross National Executives on behalf of the State Governor, Dist. Sen. The Deputy Governor further encouraged the group to seize the opportunity of the forthcoming Women August meetings to educate the masses, especially the women, about Red Cross Society, insisting that the orientation of many people have to be changed from the ‘culture of receiving to that of giving’ while stressing that early inculcation of this attitude to children will help our society better.

The number two citizen assured the international humanitarian organization of the state government’s partnership, while promising to make their requests and challenges known to the Governor who she described as a caring, kindhearted, compassionate, responsible and responsive Governor and leader.
Earlier in his address, the National President, Nigerian Red Cross Society, Prince Oluyemisi Adedayo Adeaga, highlighted the achievements recorded by the organization, including the provision of succour to Ohaji/Egbema flood victims, as he called for government’s assistance to make them more effective.
Also adding his voice, the Imo State Coordinator of the organization, Surv. Keke Chima, informed the Deputy Governor of the organization’s plan to build a nursery school and orphanage in the State, hinting that they are reaching out to more areas to complement government’s efforts in ensuring a better standard of living for citizens.
The highpoint of the visit however, was the decoration of the Imo Deputy Governor as the Vice Patron of the Nigerian Red Cross Society in Imo state.

It was beehive of activities in the capital city of Owerri, Imo State, as PearlVille schools, Owerri, held it’s 10th graduation ceremony,last Saturday,awarded best students of class 2024, including honouring the Deputy Governor of Imo State Lady (Dr) Chinyere Ekomaru,who witnessed the epoch event.
Speaking at the event, the Deputy Governor mentored the graduands on the topic “The Roles of the Youths in the Socio economic terrain of our Nation”, She emphasized that good morals, hard work brings forth development in the society.
“I am always excited to speak to young people. It gives me a special thrill as I believe in ‘catching them young’. So, I thank the management of Pearville school for granting me this honour of speaking to her fresh graduands. Pearville is reputed for churning out bright and enterprising young men and women and this set, as I see today will not be an exception, rather, will be high fliers”. She stated
The Proprietress of the school Dr. Mrs. Pearl Ihuoma Onukwugha, encouraged the pupils to continue to be good ambassadors of the citadel learning,while assuring parents that the management will be upright and disciplined in providing a standard in the education sector in the society.

Age Falsification: Imo House demand sack of Chief Judge,Chikeka
…As four-man adhoc committee submit report
Imo State House of Assembly has overwhelmingly, voted in favour of recommendations of the house adhoc committee asking the state governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma to remove the state Chief Judge, Hon Justice Theresa Ebere Chukwuemeka Chikeka from office for misconduct, pursuant to section 292 of the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended).
The legislative house further, adopted the committee’s recommendation that the house’ resolution on the committee’s recommendations be forwarded to the National Judicial Council (NJC) for further necessary action.
The house had earlier, set up a four-man adhoc committee for proper investigations and detailed report, following a petition brought before the house with caption, ” Petition Against The Chief Judge of Imo State, Hon Justice Theresa Chukwuemeka Chikeka For Age Falsification Which Is A Grave Criminal Offence And An Act For Which Many Other Judges And Justices Have Been Summarily Dismissed And Some Are Currently Being Prosecuted By The Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC).
Consequently, pursuant to section 292 of the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the petition was referred to an adhoc committee with the following as members , Hon Ikenna Ihezue(chairman), Hon Bernard Ozoemenam(member), Rt Hon Clinton Amadi (member) and Hon Ebonine Beneath (member) with Mrs Anne Martins Ezirim as clerk of the committee.
The committee in carrying out its assignment, invited relevant persons and institutions who made oral and documentary submissions which enabled the committee make recommendations that were considered by a committee of the whole house.
The Chief Judge of the state, Justice Theresa Chikeka refused to honour the committee’s invitation.
The investigating committee invited the Petitioners, Civil Society Engagement Platform( CSEP) which put up appearance through its director of investigations, Comrade Ndubuisi Onyemaechi and owned up the petition. The head of service, Imo state, secretary, Imo state judicial council, the director of Administration, Nigerian Law School were all contacted by the adhoc committee to find out the actual date of birth the Chief Judge filled in her form when she was admitted into the Nigerian Law School.
The secretary to Council and director of Administration at the Nigerian Law School as well as the head of service, Imo state sent written responses to the adhoc committee.
Submissions by all persons and institutions invited, except the Chief Judge, Chikeka, proved that indeed, the Chief Judge, Chikeka actually adjusted her date of birth from October 27, 1966 to October 27, 1958.
Based on this finding, the four-member adhoc committee concluded that Hon Justice Theresa Ebere Chukwuemeka Chikeka’s action amounted to misconduct.
Falsification of age is an act of gross misconduct for which several judges and justices, among other public office holders had been removed from office in Imo state and other parts of the world.
UYAN Set To Create Over 2,000 Jobs For Nigerian Youths

The Unemployed Youth Association of Nigeria, (UYAN), is set to create over two thousand jobs for teeming youths across the country.
This was made known by the National Director, UYAN, Comrade Ugochukwu Emeana through a statement made available to newsmen.
He submitted that this is in line with it’s mandate to engage youths through skills acquisition and obtain soft loans to set up businesses.
He submitted that the organization would l also create an avenue for the youths to be employable by sharpening their skills and increase their wok value.
Comrade Emeana stressed that the association has put mechanism in place to collaborate with the Federal government to determine the various vaccines in the ministries and place youths in these positions.
According to him, this is to ensure that the youths must work and contribute to national development.
The National Director highlighted that they intend to negotiate, synergize with the public and private sectors to employ the youths so as to reduce unemployment rate in the country.
He charged the youths to make themselves available, as they have put structures in place to create database of unemployed youths across the country.
His words, We have developed an authentic data base of unemployed youths and monitor performances of various employers in the country, with focus on employers and employees relationship.”
Comrade Emeana revealed that OYAN will partner with Nigerians in diaspora to establish job help centers and promote self reliance and enterpreneurship.
Comrade Emeana indicated that they are tracking and identifying employment opportunities available across the Federation and bring same to the notice of the teeming unemployed youths;
“We are liaising with the Nigerian Unemployed Youths and Nigerians in the Diaspora to establish Skills and Job Help Centers / Ventures, while promoting self-reliance and entrepreneurship. ”
According to him, the association has opened channel to build a super structure that would ensure the reduction of unemployment level in Nigeria to the barest minimum.
While indicating that this would be achieved through re-orienting the mindset of the youths towards self- development, self-reliance and practical economic activities that will enhance their Individual and collective Productivity.
Comrade Emeana assured that the association is networking with the unemployed youths in the country, with the intention to create a productive force of young people focused on self-actualization, national integration coupled with sustainable development.

The Chief Executive Officer, CEO of Evergreen Morning Star Pharmaceutical Industry Ltd located at Ndiowerre village in Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State, Dr. Okechukwu Unogu has appealed to Imo State government under the able leadership of Senator Hope Uzodimma to come to their aid in the areas of providing power and good roads, which according to him pose serious challenges to their expansion programmes and general operations.

Dr. Unogu, a Pharmacist who made the plea, when the Deputy governor, Lady Chinyere Ekomaru visited the factory, stated that it was not easy for him to locate such a mega factory in Pharmaceuticals in Imo State, not to talk of taking it to Orlu adding that ” I am hoping that someday, my Orlu will stand tall in the annals of history as one of the greatest cities on earth”.

While assuring that the installations in the factory, which are still being beefed up periodically will make them to compete favourably with their counterparts in the world including SKG, May and Baker (M&B), and Fidson company, revealed that their products are presently being marketed in Chad, Mali and Niger, promising that his organization will maintain a closer working relationship with the government of Imo State.

Earlier in an address, the Chairman of the occasion Dr. Okafor Cyril had thanked the governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma for his quality leadership in Imo State, and Dr. Unogu for being patriotic enough as to site such a big project at Ndiowerre in Orlu LGA.

Uche Agabiga, during an interview with newsmen at the occasion revealed that Craneburg Construction Company is currently rehabilitating roads in Orlu,and also that by January 2025 Imo State will start enjoying steady power supply following the bill passed into law by FG for States to generate their power, adding that the Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma is at work in actualizing it.

Loud Ovation, Ecstacy Erupts, As Ihentuge Emerges Chairman NBA In Imo

Pomp and pageantry, coupled with ecstacy reigned supreme in Imo State as the Nigerian Bar Association, (NBA), Owerri branch, elected erudite scholar, Barr. Chris Ihentuge as chairmen in a keenly contested election.
Barr. Ihentuge emerged victorious with 119 votes while his opponent, Mazi Udegbulem, secured 92 votes
respectively. The enthusiastic event saw lawyers cast their votes to elect new officers for key positions within the branch.
In the race for the position of Publicity Secretary, Franklin Amandi emerged as the winner with 123 votes, while his opponent, Ewelike Nnadozie, secured 78 votes. There were 8 invalid votes in this category.
Nneoma Iwu clinched the position of Treasurer, garnering 129 votes against Anulika Okoro’s 81 votes. Only 1 vote was declared invalid in the treasurer’s contest.
The battle for the Social Secretary position was closely contested between Onyinye Ugbogu and Chinenye Akaah. Ugbogu emerged victorious with 103 votes, while Akaah received 97 votes. The Social Secretary’s election had 10 invalid votes.
The newly elected officers are expected to assume their positions immediately and serve for the next two years.
The NBA Owerri Branch expressed its commitment to work with the new leadership to advance the interests of lawyers and promote the rule of law in the state.
Speaking, the new NBA chairman, Owerri branch, Barr. Ihentuge commended members for trusting his ability to steer the ship of the association.
He promised not to disappoint and rather bring his wealth of experience, accumen and dexterity in piloting the affairs of this noble profession.
Barr Ihentuge stressed that in this contest, every body is a winner and urged his opponent to join hands with him and work assiduously and conscentiously for a brighter future for the association..

In his comment, the outgoing Chairman, Barr. Ugochukwu Allinor commended the newly elected officers and urged them to build on the successes recorded during his tenure. He also thanked the members of the branch for their support and participation in the electoral process.
